These terms govern use of the distro.pk distribution management service. By using the service you agree to them.
We provide distribution management software as a hosted service — billing, inventory, field sales, collections and reporting — accessed over the internet at an address we assign to your business. We provide the software and keep it running; we do not operate your business or verify the accuracy of what your staff enter.
You retain ownership of everything you enter. We hold it on your behalf, in a database separate from every other customer. You can request an export of your data at any reasonable time. See the Privacy Policy for how it is handled.
Do not use the service to break the law, to store data you have no right to hold, to attempt to reach another customer's data, or to disrupt or overload the service or the infrastructure it runs on.
We aim to keep the service available continuously, and the field app is built to keep working through loss of connectivity. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability: maintenance, hosting faults, network failures and events outside our control can all cause interruption. We give notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can.
We take regular backups as an operational safeguard and can restore from them where practical. This is not a substitute for your own records, and we recommend taking periodic exports of data your business cannot afford to lose.
Fees, the billing period and what is included are as agreed with you in writing. Fees are payable in advance unless agreed otherwise. We may suspend access to an account that remains unpaid after we have given notice.
We provide support for faults, questions and setup during normal business hours through the contact channels published on our site.
We improve and change the software continuously. We will not remove a feature your business depends on without reasonable notice.
Either of us may end the agreement with reasonable notice. On termination we will make your data available for export for a reasonable period, then delete it, except where we are required to keep it by law.
The service is provided in good faith and with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for loss arising from data your own staff entered incorrectly. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
